Regular clinics and routine health checks (" flying doctor service") as conducted through flight-aid's Flying Clinic programme, are just one aspect of the organisation's humanitarian commitments.
A large share of flight-aid missions however, is of universal humanitarian nature, which is coordinated and carried out on a one-to-one basis. All of these individual missions constitute the AirLink program, and are available to relief agencies and programmes that serve a humanitarian purpose.
flight-aid defines as humanitarian when the primary use of its aircraft and pilots is for charitable purposes, and whenever a better quality of life for the disadvantaged can be achieved.
Summing it up:
- On-demand flight service for both humanitarian and medical needs
- Transportation of material, goods and/or personnel
